When your body isn’t working well, it impacts everything—exercise, focus at work, even family time. At Mend Chiropractic, we love to help with neck and back pain, tension, and headaches so you can feel and function at your best.
With 20+ years’ experience, we start with gentle, lower-force techniques wherever possible. Our flexible approach means we can care for everyone—from kids to grandparents—in a way that’s suited to you.
Screens are hard to avoid—and they often bring tight shoulders, sore backs, poor posture, and headaches. We help busy professionals and families manage these demands so they can keep doing what matters most.
How your body works can affect everything. Neck and back pain can affect how you exercise, your productivity at work, even how you show up with your family. At Mend Chiropractic we love helping people be their best at what’s important to them.
Mend Chiropractic is Glebe’s longest-running chiropractic practice and a proud member of the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA). Since 2007, we have been committed to finding the source of your symptoms and keeping you moving and performing at your very best.
We use a range of gentle, evidence-based techniques to promote the proper movement and alignment of your spine. Our goal is to improve the function of your spine to support the healing process, and assist you to maintain these changes in the long term.
People often begin care due to back, neck or other joint pain, headaches, sciatica or postural concerns. We aim to boost your wellbeing wherever you’re at, help you maintain a healthy lifestyle and do the things you love to do.
On your first visit to Mend Chiropractic, we’ll start with a thorough consultation to understand your health concerns, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll perform a gentle physical assessment to check your posture, see how your body is moving and identify areas causing discomfort or strain.
If we determine that chiropractic care can help—and no further tests like x-rays are needed—we’ll begin care during this visit.
We’ll explain our findings and discuss the treatment options best suited to you. You can expect a supportive and relaxed environment where your comfort and questions are always a priority.
At Mend Chiropractic we use a variety of techniques to help you be at your best. Firmer adjustments are perfect for some people, while lower force adjustments are better suited to others.
We generally focus on using gentle, comfortable, ‘lower force’ techniques as our first approach to care. This helps us provide care to everyone who needs it, from the smallest to the oldest members of your family.
So while some of our techniques make the noises, plenty don’t. Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique uses a small hand-held instrument that delivers a precise, powerful thrust to make changes in the body, while often being barely discernible to the patient. Adjustments can also be done by hand, or by using special adjusting tables.
Initially, during ‘Relief Care’ our goal is to get you more comfortable, to stabilise your initial complaint and health concerns.
Visits become less frequent as we move towards ‘Corrective Care’, where we aim to correct any underlying problems, improving spinal function, and promoting healing of involved tissues.
The majority of clients at Mend Chiropractic Glebe choose ‘Performance Care’ for themselves and their families, maintaining a healthy spine and nerve system, catching small problems before they turn into big ones, and helping them stay at their best.
We see people of all ages and all backgrounds. Over the years our patients have included pro athletes, world champions, weekend warriors, GPs, specialists, CEOs, creatives, musicians, students, academics, adults, kids, pregnant women, and everyone in between!
Most people begin care because of acute or chronic pain or stiffness. How your body works can affect every aspect of your life, and pain and other symptoms can make it difficult to do the things you like, love or need to do. Their reasons for starting care often include:
Once their initial complaints are under control, many people choose to continue with chiropractic care to maintain their improvements and perform at their very best.

Hi, I’m Dan – I started Mend Chiropractic in 2007 and have been here in Glebe ever since. I’m passionate about helping people improve their spinal health and overall wellbeing, with a focus on gentle, tailored chiropractic care for those dealing with neck and back pain, tension, and headaches—often from too much screen time or long hours at a desk.
I hold a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science (2002) and a Master of Chiropractic (2004) from Macquarie University, along with additional training in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique and certification as a Chiropractic Wellness Lifestyle Practitioner (C.C.W.P.).
My approach is personalised and low-force, using techniques that are comfortable and suit each person’s preferences. I have a keen interest in how modern lifestyles affect spinal health and enjoy supporting patients in making meaningful, lasting improvements.
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m with my wife and two kids, staying active, or catching a basketball game —sometimes all at once!
